Hurling threats by Fawad Ch at election office officials case: Court orders investigation officer to file challan till March 18

ISLAMABAD, Feb 13 (Online): District and Sessions Court Islamabad has fixed March 18 for next hearing of the case against PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry for hurling threats at officials of Election Commission (EC) besides ordering investigation officer to file challan till next hearing.

Fawad Chaudhry appeared in district and sessions court in the case Monday.
District magistrate Waqas Ahmad heard the case.
Ali Bukhari and Faisal Chaudhry counsels for Fawad Chaudhry appeared in the court.

At the inception of hearing the court inquired has the challan beensubmitted.

The staff members told the investigation officer has not filed challan so far.

The court remarked we call the investigation officer. As to why he has not filed challan despite passage of 14 days.

Faisal Chaudhry counsel for Fawad Chaudhry requested the court elections are going to be held on March 16 therefore dates be given after election is held.

The court remarked we ascertain from investigation officer. Then we will give date.

The court while directing Fawad Chaudhry to go remarked the next date of hearing will be given on the appearance of investigation officer.

The court while fixing March 18 for next hearing of the case ordered investigation officer to submit challan till the next hearing.
