Power distribution companies seek permission to recover outstanding dues over Rs 17 billion

ISLAMABAD, FEB 11 (Online): Power distribution companies have sought permission to recover outstanding dues of over Rs 17 billion from the consumers.

The NEPRA will hear the petition on February 22 filed by power distribution companies in connection with adjustment for second quarterly.

LESCO has filed application in NEPRA for recovery of over Rs 6 billion, GEPCO over Rs 6 billion, FESCO over Rs 4 billion, MEPCO over Rs 2 billion and IESCO over Rs one billion from the consumers.

NEPRA will decide about the petitions after preliminary hearing.
