ISLAMABAD, Feb 08 (Online): Supreme Court (SC) has wrapped up petition OF Bank of Khyber against chairman NAB on the basis of being in-fructuous.
The case came up for hearing before a 3-member bench of SC presided over by the Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial here Wednesday.
The counsel for Bank of Khyber told the court NAB is sending notice to it. NAB says the appointment of MD of bank is wrong.
Justice Ayesha Malik inquired on the occasion can NAB take action against any bank. NAB has not taken action against any one so far.
Additional Attorney General (AAG) told the court governor State Bank sent the case to NAB in December.
The court directed the petitioner to come again here when NAB will take any action.
The court wrapped up the petition on the basis of being in-fructuous.
