PTI decides to challenge appointment of care taker CM Punjab, acceptance of resignations of 43 MNAs in SC

ISLAMABAD, Jan 25 (Online): PTI has decided to challenge the nomination of care taker Chief Minister (CM) Punjab and acceptance of resignations of its 43 Members of National Assembly (MNAs) in Supreme Court (SC).

According to sources PTI has completed the consultation process to approach SC in respect of important matters.
A petition has been worked out against the appointment of Caretaker CM Punjab. PTI chairman Imran Khan has accorded formal approval to the text of the petition.

Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will be made respondent in the petition against the appointment of care taker CM Punjab. The alleged plea bargaining of Mohsin Naqvi with NAB will be made part of the case.

The text of different programs of Mohsin Naqvi in private TV channel will be made part of the petition.

As per sources the SC will be approached after the notification issued by EC on denotifying the 43 MNAs of PTI is received.
