ISLAMABAD, DEC 30 (Online): Pakistan authorities have given briefing to foreign ambassadors and diplomats in the backdrop of prevailing security situation in the country.
According to sources over 100 foreign ambassadors and diplomats attended the briefing. They were given briefing by foreign secretary, interior secretary and security authorities.
IG Islamabad Nasir Akbar Khan informed them about security situation.
It was told in the briefing security arrangements in federal capital are far better. Foreign citizens can move freely.
According to sources the questions were asked by different ambassadors and the authorities concerned gave replies to these questions.
The foreign ambassadors and diplomats were apprised of progress made in the investigation into sector i-10 blast.
The diplomats termed the briefing satisfactory.
