PMC rejects baseless reports regarding MDCAT delay

Islamabad, November 5, 2022, (Online): The Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) shared a formal statement regarding Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) exam , said that exam 2022 will be conducted on 13th November.

“We reject baseless reports that circulate on social media regarding MDCAT delay”, said by PMC official on Saturday.

PMC refutes all the rumours and fake notifications as baseless which are being circulated merely to misguide students and candidates about the exam.
PMC said that we are working tirelessly for holding MDCAT 2022.

They said that any information related to MDCAT will officially be announced by PMC President Dr. Noshad Ahmad Shaikh.

PMC appealed the students and candidates to ignore all such misleading and fake news and only rely on PMC official website.

On the other hand, MDCAT candidates are demanding to delay the exam owing to recent flood devastation across the country and negligence of PMC regarding exam and selection of centers.

Students appealed the health minister and concerned authorities to delay the exam till end of November.

While Member National Assembly Standing on health and PML(N) lawmaker Dr Zehra Wadood Fatemi supported the MDCAT aspirants on the matter of MDCAT delay.

She said that students are facing mental stress due to the confusing statements of PMC.
