NDU’s international military delegation meets children at Pakistan Sweet Home

ISLAMABAD, Nov 03 (APP):An international delegation of National Defence University, comprising 42 military officers from 23 countries, visited the Pakistan Sweet Home here on Wednesday and appreciated the authority for providing facilities to the orphan children.

On this occasion, children narrated their stories before the visitors and said their lives would have shattered without Pakistan Sweet Home. They were getting education in top institutions and cadet colleges which had become possible due to Pakistan Sweet Home, the children said.

Appreciating the Patron in Chief of Pakistan Sweet Home Zamarud Khan, the children declared him as their hero because he dedicated his life for orphans.

The delegation briefed by authorities about the work, history, goals and a blood bank established by Pakistan Sweet Home that helped in saving 27000 precious human lives. Besides that, a short documentary was screened that depicted life at Pakistan Sweet Home.

The delegation presented a token donation of Rs120,500 for the Pakistan Sweet Home with the commitment that they would keep on contributing to this noble cause from their respective regions.

The delegation visited the different areas of Pakistan Sweet Home and learned about the lives of children during informal discussions.
