ISLAMABAD, NOV 02 (ONLINE): Ministry of information has constituted a 3-member committee for implementation of Islamabad High Court (IHC) order for addressing the problems facing the journalists.
Ministry of information notification on constitution of committee and meeting minutes has been filed in IHC.
PFUJ President Afzal Butt and RIUJ president Shakeel Ahmad are included in the committee. Saqib Bashir president Islamabad High Court Journalists Association is also part of the committee.
Deputy Director ministry of information and broadcasting has issued notification and copy of notification has been filed in IHC.
According to notification the committee should file its proposals in ministry of information till November 30.
Under the orders of court the representatives of journalists had met with information minister on October 31.
High court issued orders on the request of PFUJ and high court journalists association.
