LAHORE / ISLAMABAD – October 30 (ONLINE) In an unwanted and saddening incident Sunday, a female reporter belonging to Channel 5 was dead after getting ‘crushed’ by PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s container during her duty time.
Imran Khan, who is currently leading a massive long march towards Islamabad, expressed his grievance over the incident said that Sunday’s proceedings of long march will be finished as a result.
He said he was ‘deeply aggrieved’ by journalist’s death and expressed solidarity with her family.
PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry confirmed the incident. “A woman has passed away. She has been sent to the hospital via Rescue 1122. We are not 100 per cent sure right now but there are reports that she was a media person,” he said.
Earlier, PTI chairman Imran Khan’s long march to Islamabad was greeted by a huge crowd in Sadhoke on Sunday.
“This is the revolution I was talking about,” Imran said, hailing the swelling number of marchers.
