Planning ministry presents CPEC projects detail in Parliament

ISLAMBAD 14 Oct (Online): Ministry of planning and development presented the detail of projects completed under the banner of CPEC (China Pakistan economic corridor) In Parliament on Friday.

18 billion and 800 million dollars projects have been completed in CPEC framework.

During the question hour, Planning Minister told that 12 energy and 10 infrastructure projects has been completed in which six projects of six billion in Punjab, seven projects of 6 billion and 430 million in Sindh, two projects in KPK, six In Balochistan, one in Kashmir and 6 projects has been completed in Islamabad.

Interim speaker went angry on the absence of Murtaza Javed Abbasi, he said “where is Javed Abbasi, wherever he is, ask him to arrive to the parliament,” further he said, If chief whip will come late, how other members will be on time.

Opposition leader Gous Mehr Bakhsh said, chief whip is absent, Coram is in not compelet how you can function Parliament. Why members are not attending the sessions.

Federal Minister Khursheed Shah said Parliament is the mother of all institutions and we got it after a long strugglem.

Further he said Please start the session on time to send a good message and impression and when the member will get that session starts on time they will start attending.

If the session starts late, said Shah, member will become habitually late.
Interim Speaker Zahid Akrab Durani said that from onward the session will starts on time even if the coram is not complete.

Due to the lake of Coram, Interim speaker postponed the session till Monday at 5pm.
