ATTOCK: The Atock Police during crackdown against anti social elements arrested as many as six outlaws including busting a three member gang of motorcycle lifters and three drugs peddlers.
During crackdown as many as 14 stolen motorcycles were recovered while over 5 kilogram drugs were recovered. Sub divisional Police officer Fatehjang circle DSP Fayyaz ul haq told newsmen that acting on a tip off, a team of police busted a three member gang of motorcycle lifters comprising Muhammad Waqas, Muhammad Ismail and Muhammad Yasin and recovered as many as 14 motorcycles which were stolen from different parts of the city and adjacent areas.
Moreover during crackdown against drugs mafia, Attock Khurd Police recovered 3.60 kilogram chars from Intizar Ali – a resident of Dipalpur Okara, Rangoo Police recovered 1.10 kilogram chars from Aqib Mehmood, Attock Saddar Police recovered 0.5 kilogram chars from Ishfaq Ahmed. Separate cases were registered against the accused and police launched further investigation.
