ISLAMABAD, Aug 27 (Online): As many as 290 persons were infected by coronavirus while 2 deaths took place during the last 24 hours in the country.
The National Institute of Health (NIH) latest statistics revealed 16570 tests were conducted of which 290 returned positive taking the total number of positive cases to 1,568,183.
The positivity ratio stands at 1.75 percent.
With two casualties during the last 24 hours the tally of fatalities has touched the mark of 30571.
