KARACHI, Aug 27 (Online): PTI secretary general Asad Umar has filed petition in Sindh High Court (SHC) against show cause notice issued by Election Commission (EC).
The petitioner has prayed the court to nullify August 19 show cause notice issued by election commission.
Election commission had said in the notice that Imran Khan had given contemptuous statement against chief election commissioner in his July 12 public meeting in Bhakkar.
The petitioner also took the plea that election commission notice be suspended till the decision of this petition. Election Commission be also restrained from taking any action.
