Islamabad, July 27, 2022 (Online): On the operation of Cybercrime Circle Islamabad, the culprit Amjad son of Zameer resident of Kahoti, Kotli Satian involved in sexual harassment was arrested from I-8 center Islamabad.
The accused has been uploading pictures of complainant Sibtul Hasan’s family with obscene statements through fake Facebook account and letters to his in-laws and other relatives for the past seven years.
According to the FIA spokesperson, a case has been registered against the offender under Sections 21, 24 and PPC 419,509 of the PICA Act.
According to the sources, the accused has confessed to all the crimes committed during the investigation. The accused belongs to village Baglian of Tehsil Kotli Satian.
After this arrest, the people of the area are satisfied to get rid of the collective trouble and are thankful to FIA Cybercrime. The people of the area have demanded that the law enforcement agencies and courts take strict action against the elements involved in such heinous crimes.
