Peshawar, July 27 (Online): Commissioner Malakand Division Shaukat Ali Yousafzai has awarded certificates of appreciation to young mountaineers Syed Zeeshan Umar and Nauman Khalil from Swat for climbing the highest peak in the Swat district Falak Sar Mountain.
The young mountaineers met Commissioner Malakand Division Shaukat Ali Yousafzai at Commissioner’s Office Saidu Sharif. In the meeting, Malakand Division Commissioner Shaukat Ali Yousafzai termed this initiative for young mountaineers as an honor for Swat and assured to provide all kind of support to the young mountaineers.
He said that the growing trend of mountaineering among the youth will play an important role in the promotion of healthy activities.
On the other hand, Deputy Commissioner Swat Junaid Khan has presented checks of 50 thousand rupees each to young mountaineers. It is pertinent to mention here that Syed Zeeshan Umar and Noman Khalil have accomplished this expedition of mountain climbing to Falak Sar, the highest mountain peak in Swat district, on a self-help basis.
