LAHORE 27 July (Online): After Hamza Shehbaz removal, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf’s senior leadership has started consultation process for speaker and deputy speaker’s names.
Former CM Usman Buzdar for Speaker and Zain Qureshi (son of Shah Mehmood Qureshi) for deputy speaker are under consideration.
According to source Mian Mehmood Ur Rasheed name is also being mulled over for the speaker slot.
Leadership is also consulting for provincial cabinet and senior members of Buzdar cabinet may be included in Elahi’s cabinet for their previous portfolios.
Various names including Raja Yasir Hamayun, Fiaz ul Hassan Chohan, and Mian Aslam are under consideration for home minister and Shehbaz Gill is under consideration for the post of special assistant for home ministry to Chief Minister.
Dr Yasmin Rashid is on top of list for health minister.
Sibtain Khan is strong candidate for the slot of Senior Minister, sources told, Hafiz Ammar Yasir and Muhammad Rizwan will be included in PML-Q’s cabinet.
However PTI leadership, after consultation, will take approval from Chairman Imran Khan.
