All the politicians should sit together and resolve the matters: Asad Umar

ISLAMABAD, July 26 (Online): PTI leader Asad Umar has said all the politicians should sit together and resolve the matters.

“ we have been saying for the last four years the politicians should resolve the problems by sitting together. The society cannot develop where country is divided into diverse groups and level of trust is low.

When they don’t talk themselves then they will find some other ways and the powerful will be third power, he said this while addressing a ceremony in Islamabad High Court Bar (IHCB).

PPP leader Farhat Ullah Babar and journalist Hamid Mir also addressed the ceremony.

Asad Umar said what non tolerance is and what tolerance is. How will we have to come out of it. If the political leaders use civilized language then it will be better. I have said with regret that all the leaders including Bhutto have used the language.

If the politicians are not ready to sit together then someone else has to be contacted, he held.

The problem in Pakistan is this that one matter cannot be discussed here. We cannot sit together on the issue of accountability that what we have to do.

The non political interference will have to be stopped if we have to take democracy forward in Pakistan , he stressed.

Go to any part of the country and ask has any one trust on pattern of politics in Pakistan, he added.

He observed the politics is based on tolerance but bid is made to address all problems on TV talk shows and roads.

Law expert Hamid Khan while criticizing Chief Justice of Pakistan said judges should set aside their differences. Justice Sajjad Ali Shah is going to retire within a few days and he has been appointed member of judicial commission for five days.

Justice Mansoor Ali Shah has to become member of judicial commission but he is not being allowed to be made member. Chief Justice Sindh High Court is not being brought to Supreme court despite being senior judge.

Inducting junior judges with bypassing senior judges will leave wrong impact. Chief Justice Islamabad High Court (IHC) Athar Minallah is neutral and competent judge. Why he is not being brought to SC.

7th judge is being taken from Lahore High Court but no judge has been taken from IHC. Is it your justice? Every high court and province should be represented in SC. We appeal to chief justice of Pakistan to do justice. We want only and only reforms in judiciary. We want appointment of judges in SC on the basis of seniority.

He held when SC bench declared the ruling of National Assembly deputy speaker illegal then they greeted it with fanfare. When now ruling has come in respect of PML-N then the judiciary is being threatened. I think the ruling was wrong the then and today too.

He added that the lawyers should not allow themselves to be used for the influence of political parties. Pressurizing the court to get decisions of one’s own desire is not proper in any way. After taking two decisions the objection has been raised on this bench that full court bench be constituted. It is matter of regret.

It is right of every one to do politics but one should do politics outside the bars. If someone has been elected being affiliated with the political party then he should not bring the bar into politics.

PPP leader Farhat Ullah Babar said there is full polarization existing in the society. The bars should play their role in curtailing polarization in the society. Digital media has further enhanced non tolerance in the society.
He held that the education is important source to eliminate non tolerance. There is need to focus on education, training and morality.

Hamid Mir said message was received early in the morning from Srinagar that Hurriyat leader Yasin Malik has gone on hunger strike. It was said in the message Pakistanis you should abandon pitting against each other.

We are entangled in our personal conflicts and coverage is given on media. Two parties fight is going on in SC but we all are running therein. Boycotting the courts for political motives is not good.
