All parties of coalition government call for constitution of full bench of SC in CM Punjab election case

ISLAMABAD, July 23 (Online): All the allied parties of coalition government have demanded constitution of full bench of Supreme Court (SC) to hear the case of election of Chief Minister (CM) Punjah.

A press release issued here by government allied parties said the election of CM Punjab is legal, constitutional and political issue. It will be just that full court comprising all the judges of SC should fix for hearing concurrently and give decision regarding SC Bar review petition, the current petition and other petitions.

The press release said the people are paying the heavy price of political instability, threats of bankruptcy of national economy in the form of inflation, unemployment and poverty. Imran Khan is creating chaos in the politics repeatedly which is aimed at escaping accountability, concealing his corruption and grabbing power through backdoor.

Constitution has drawn a clear line in the powers of legislation, judiciary and executive and a stubborn constitution abrogator is trying it to erase it. He in fact wants to make constitution, right of the people to rule and democratic system bankrupt like economy.

All the allied parties of coalition government reiterate the resolve in categorical term no compromise will be made on constitution, democracy and right of people to rule and allied parties will move ahead together in every field and forum.
