Interim bail pleas of Imran Khan in long march vandalizm cases extended till July 21

ISLAMABAD, July 18 (Online): The local courts have extended interim bail of PTI chairman Imran Khan till July 21 in different cases long march vandalizm cases.

The petition regarding interim bail in 16 long mach vandalizm cases came up for hearing before Sessions Judge Kamran Basharat Mufti.

Babar Awan counsel for former Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan and prosecutor Muhammad Wajid Munir appeared in the court.

Babar Awan presented exemption plea of Imran Khan and the court extended interim bails till July 21 while accepting the exemption plea.

On the other side the cases registered against Imran Khan came up for hearing before the second district and sessions court Islamabad led by Additional Sessions Judge East Abdul Ghafoor Kakar.

The court accepted interim bail plea in five cases against the surety bonds in the sum of Rs 5000 each.

The counsel Dr Babar Awan presented exemption plea of Imran Khan. Following the completion of arguments over them, the court accepted interim bail plea of Imran Khan.

Case No 500-501 is registered against Imran Khan in the police station Bahara kahu, case No 593 in police station Lohi Bher, case No 1078 in police station Koral and case No 462 in police station Sihala.
