ECP directs PTI lawyer to complete arguments in foreign funding case in 2 days

ISLAMABAD, Jun 02 (APP):The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Thursday directed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) counsel Anwer Mansoor to complete arguments , in the foreign funding case within two days.

A three-member bench headed by Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikandar Sultan Raja resumed the hearing of foreign funding case and directed PTI’s financial expert to complete his briefing within the next five days.

“Brief only about the accounts, details of which were not given to the scrutiny committee,” CEC Sikandar Sultan Raja told financial expert.

Continuing his briefing, the financial expert said 18 of the accounts mentioned in the State Bank of Pakistan report belonged to the PTI while nine others were not owned by it. In scrutiny committee report, the postal code of Habib Bank Limited was shown as PTI’s bank account, he added.
