LAHORE, March 02 (Online): PML-N Punjab president Rana Sana Ullah has said the resignation tendered by Usman Buzdar is illegal and unconstitutional and demanded of governor Punjab to correct his mistake.
He added that secretary services and chief secretary Punjab should withdraw the notification in respect of the resignation of Usman Buzdar and obtain the resignation again from Usman Buzdar as per law and constitution.
Talking to media men here Saturday he said chief minister Usman Buzdar has tendered his resignation contrary to the law and the constitution. He should have addressed his resignation to governor Punjab. But he addressed his resignation to the Prime Minister Umran Khan which runs contrary to the constitution.
He cautioned if chief secretary Punjab and secretary services did not discharge their obligations then they will have to be accountable.
He claimed Punjab government has tried to bulldoze the legal and constitutional process in haste.
