Rawalpindi, March 29 (Online): Four terrorists were killed and one arrested in an intelligence-based operation in Lakki Marwat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), an intelligence based operation was jointly carried out by Army and Police on the presence of terrorists in Sheri Khel area of Lakki.
Heavy weapons were used during the operation. Four most wanted terrorists were killed and one was arrested during the exchange of fire.
The killed terrorists remained actively involved in kidnapping and terrorist activities against innocent civilians and security forces. These terrorists were also involved in Martyrdom of a FC soldier in Jan 22.
Locals of the area appreciated the operation and expressed their full support to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the area, ISPR said.
