Zardari ‘hijacked’ PPP: says Qureshi

TANDOJAM – March 5 (ONLINE) Foreign Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) central leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi said Saturday former president Asif Ali Zardari had ‘taken over’ Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), as the Sindh’s ruling party was no more a ‘Bhutto’s party.

Addressing a public rally in Tandojam, the minister said people of South Punjab understand PPP was no more the ‘party of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto’. He said PPP’s recent road-show is flopped as people are disappointed with PPP leadership.

Qureshi, who once was a senior leader in the PPP, said people of Multan ‘rejected’ PPP. “Bilawal was addressing empty chairs in Multan” he added.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi said he wouldn’t utilize Sindh government’s security and protocol. He said PPP worker was disappointed with party leadership and did not believe what Zardari said.
