Lahore-February 12 (Online): A 10-year-old girl has been raped in the washroom of a private school in Shahdara area of Lahore, media reported on Saturday.
According to media reports, the incident took place when a third-grade student was found in critical condition in a washroom after school closed.
When police arrived at the scene, they found the girl in a semi-conscious state. Preliminary inquiries revealed that the girl resisted to save herself and shouted but no one came in her aid.
The children told police that they had informed the school administration about it but they ignored it and said that the children often make noise.
The girl was rushed to hospital in critical condition
Police are trying to get help with CCTV cameras installed inside and outside the school to nab the accused. Doctors confirmed the rape with the girl.
