LHC fines Beauty Saloon for leaving Bride’s Makeup unfinished

Lahore-February 7 (Online) A Beauty Saloon in Lahore on Monday was fined Rs 60,000 by a Consumer Court Judge WasimAfzalMian after a petition filed by Dr. Shazia,who claimed that she had taken one of her relatives to the parlor for the bridal makeup, but the bride’s makeup was left unfinished.

According to media reports, the petitioner said that, beauty parlor’s management was not only accused of leaving the bride’s makeup unfinished and ordering her and the lady accompanying her to leave the parlor premise but also overcharged her.

Several notices were issued to the beauty parlor’s owner to appear before the law and clarify her position, but her negligence forced court to fine her, the report states.

Dr. Shazia demanded RS 1million from the owner, but the court fined saloon of RS 60,000.
