ISLAMABAD, Feb 02 (Online): Finance Ministry (FM) spokesperson Muzammal Aslam has said the inflation escalates during the period from July to November every year and now inflation has started coming under control.
The price of commodities scales up on which government does not allow subsidy at utility stores.
He said this while expressing his views in a private TV channel program.
About the change in petroleum products prices he said finance ministry and OGRA had proposed to enhance the prices of petroleum products by Rs 17 per liter but Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan had deferred the proposal for increasing the prices of petroleum products. It is now at discretion of PM that he keeps the prices of petroleum products deferred for 2 days or 15 days.
