Indian wailing on Appointment of Sardar Masood Khan is bid to defame Pakistan , says Foreign Office spokesman

Islamabad-February 01 (Online): Foreign Office Spokesperson Asim Iftikhar Ahmed has said that Indian media reports on the appointment of Sardar Masood Khan as Pakistan’s ambassador to the United States is a bid to malign Pakistan and its representatives.

In his statement, the spokesperson said that such issues are a special part of the Indian Disinformation Campaign.
Defamatory claims and baseless allegations are made using fake news by Indian media , he said.

Ambassador Masood Khan is a highly skilled diplomat, with over 40 years of experience in multilateral and bilateral diplomacy.

Under the US system, work is underway on the ambassador’s agreement, he said.
