ISLAMABAD (PID AJK) The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi called on the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan here on Thursday.
The meeting discussed the holding of local body elections in Azad Kashmir in the mid of this year while plans to promote tourism in Azad Kashmir were also discussed.
Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan said that the government was taking concrete steps to take full advantage of the immense potential of the tourism sector in Azad Kashmir, Northern Areas and Gilgit-Baltistan.
He said providing employment to local people through eco-tourism and conserving the natural beauty of these areas are among the top priorities of the government.
