WSSP hold awareness session among students about cleanliness

PESHAWAR, Dec 15 (APP):Water and Sanitation Services Peshawar (WSSP) has organized an awareness session at Government High School for Deaf and Dumb Children in Gulbahar and explained to the children the importance of clean water and how to dispose of garbage.

Students, teachers, Acting Zonal Manager Zone E Anwar-ul-Haq, Manager Solid West Muhammad Ziad, and other officials attended.

WSSP Zonal Manager Amir Gul Khattak, Field Officers Adnan Khan, Abdullah, and Hurriya Naveed highlighted the WSSP’s services and public role in sanitation operations, water supply, and drainage.

School Principal Mohammad Idrees and Senior Teacher Shahid Ali on the occasion explained to the children the importance of clean water and how to dispose of garbage, designated places, time and use of water in gestures and urged them to convey the message of cleanliness to others in your own language while throwing garbage in designated places or in the dustbin and take special care of cleanliness.

He said that WSSP was playing an effective role in creating awareness among students about cleanliness.

Later, an awareness walk was taken out which was led by Principal Muhammad Idrees and Zonal Manager Amir Gul Khattak.
