ISLAMABAD, DEC 11 (ONLINE): Islamabad High Court (IHC) has reserved judgment on the appeal pleas filed against their conviction by the accused persons in Dr Imran Farooq murder case.
The judgment was reserved by the court following the completion of arguments by both sides.
The appeal pleas came up for hearing before a division bench of IHC comprising Chief Justice (CJ) Athar Minallah and Justice Amir Farooq Saturday.
Deputy Attorney General (DAG) Khawaja Imtiaz presented his written reply with graphs in the court. DAG prayed the court to reject the appeal pleas of the accused persons.
DAG told the court there are concrete evidence and documents are available against the accused persons. The court is requested to uphold Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) decision.
The arguments and written reply of lawyers of the accused persons including Khalid Shamim, Moazzam Ali and Mohsin Ali were also filed in the court.
The court reserved the judgment regarding appeal pleas file by the three accused against their conviction. It may be mentioned that ATC had awarded punishment and fine to the suspects for allegedly killing Imran Forooq.
