ISLAMABAD (PID) The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi held a meeting with the Senior Minister and President of PTI Azad Kashmir Sardar Tanveer Ilyas here on Tuesday. Political, governmental and party matters were discussed during the meeting. The strategy for ensuring local body elections in Azad Kashmir was also discussed during the meeting.
The Prime Minister Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi speaking on the occasion said that PTI workers should make full preparations for local body elections, women and youth will be given effective representation as per PTI manifesto. He said local bodies institutions will be strengthened as per the vision of the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan to ensure the participation of common man especially women and youth in the election process of the local bodies.
On this occasion, Sardar Tanveer Ilyas said that he would soon visit all the district headquarters of the state to take the workers into confidence and mobilize them to participate in the local bodies elections.
