Dry weather expected in most plain areas of country

ISLAMABAD, Nov 01 (Online): Mainly dry weather is expected in most plain areas of the country during the next 12 hours.
However, rain thunderstorm, light snowfall over the mountains, is expected in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northeast Punjab, Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas.

Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning:
Islamabad and Peshawar twelve degree centigrade, Lahore twenty, Karachi twenty-three, Quetta and Gilgit five and Murree and Muzaffarabad nine degree centigrade.

According to Met Office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy weather with chances of rain thunderstorm is expected in Srinagar, Jammu and Baramula while cloudy weather with chances of rain in Pulwama, Anantnag and Shopian and Snow with cloudy weather and rain in Leh.

Temperature recorded this morning: Srinagar, Pulwama and Baramula five degree centigrade, Jammu sixteen, Leh minus three, Shopian four and Anantnag three degree centigrade.
