Banking court extends interim bail of Shahbaz, Hamza in money laundering case

LAHORE, Sep 25 (Online): Lahore Banking Court has extended interim bails of Mian Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz till October 09 in money laundering case.

PML-N president Shahbaz Sharif and opposition leader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz appeared in the banking court Saturday.

The counsels of the accused did not appear in the court and the court was requested to adjourn the hearing of the case.

During the course of hearing of the case FIA director Muhammad Ramzan appeared before the court with five boxes containing evidences.

The court inquired FIA needs how much time to complete its investigation.

FIA charged that the accused were not extending cooperation saying when we put up questions they repeat the old stories.

Opposition leader Shahbaz Sharif came up on the rostrum. Describing the FIA allegations as misstatement he said FIA has conducted investigation in Jail as well. We appeared on every hearing. When I went to FIA they talked to me in loud shouting. Our family sugar mills had to suffer loss of billion of rupees.

The court barred Shahbaz Sharif from speaking remarking arguments are not being given in your case at present .

The court directed the accused to cooperate with the FIA besides extending their interim bail till October 09.
