Players express disappointment over England’s refusal to come to Pakistan

Karachi, September 21 (Online): The players of the national team on Tuesday expressed their disappointment and anger over the cancellation of the tour of Pakistan by England.

The national team took to twitter on Tuesday and shared their anger and disappointment.

National team captain Babar Azam tweeted as “We have always tried to keep the interests of the game in mind, but others do not.”

He said that we have come a long way in reviving cricket, it will get better with the passage of time and we will not only compete but also succeed, Babar Azam added in his tweet.

Former captain Shoaib Malik tweeted as “This is sad news for Pakistan cricket but we have to stay strong, we will come back again.”
Shaheen Shah Afridi, in his tweet, said that it is very sad news that the England cricket team also ended the tour.

He said that if the world could see the passion and love of the people of Pakistan for cricket, we will continue to move forward.

Shadab Khan wrote on his twitter handle that one should never forget that Pakistan cricket will not only survive but will flourish as people of Pakistan love cricket very much.

Meanwhile, Muhammad Amir wrote that “It’s time to win the World Cup, it’s time to have Pakistan’s biggest ever PSL season at home, it’s time to react!”
