Muzaffarabad – May 18: From the vales of Srinagar to the peaks of Karakoram, Kashmir stands with Pakistan as one land, one soul and one destiny bound by shared faith, united in struggle, and inseparable in spirit.
This stirring message was delivered by Tanveer-ul-Islam, former Chairman of the United Jihad Council and President of the Sawera Foundation at an event titled Roundtable Conference – Guardians of the Green Crescent, held under the banner of the Sawera Foundation.
The host of the event and Chairman Sawera Foundation Tanveer ul Islam passionately narrated the deep seated love of Kashmiri people with the state of Pakistan and their seven decades long struggle to complete the sacred land of Pakistan as envisioned by the founding fathers of the country.
The event brought together an esteemed gathering of religious scholars, youth leaders, journalists, academics, activists, and civil society members from across Azad Jammu & Kashmir.
In a climate charged with conviction and clarity, participants resoundingly pledged their allegiance to the ideological and territorial sanctity of Pakistan — not as a mere geographical entity, but as a sacred trust founded on sacrifice, faith, and the vision of its forebears.
Speakers hailed Pakistan as the spiritual and strategic soul of Kashmir’s freedom struggle — a symbol of identity, justice, and unwavering resolve. A joint declaration adopted at the conference reiterated full support to the Pakistan Armed Forces as defenders of the nation’s ideological frontiers and guardians of faith and sovereignty.
The sacrifices of martyrs from both Pakistan and Kashmir were honored with deep reverence. Participants vowed to uphold their legacy and turn their sacrifices into a beacon of guidance for the youth. Emphasis was placed on empowering the next generation through value-based education, patriotic discipline, and ideological clarity.
The declaration called upon national institutions and media outlets to boldly and consistently project Pakistan’s narrative, military achievements, and the Kashmiri cause with confidence on domestic and global platforms.
In a passionate address, senior leader Khawaja Manzoor Qadir stated:
“Pakistan is the pride of the Muslim Ummah and the eternal benefactor of the Kashmiri people. The pain of Kashmir is the pain of Pakistan — their struggle is ours.”

They described it as a pillar of strength and hope for the people of Kashmir, defending not only borders but also the ideals of justice and freedom.
The speakers deeply appreciated the timely intervention of global community especially the role of United States, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Turkey and Qatar for supporting Pakistan and orchestrating ceasefire between India and Pakistan.
