KARACHI, APRIL 24 (ONLINE): One 19 years old female student of first year was killed in jubilation firing in a marriage ceremony in the area of New Karachi.
She was making preparations for first year examination on roof of her home and was hit in firing from participants of wedding ceremony. Her body remained lying on roof for more than three hours and no one could come to know about the incident.
Her body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed hospital.
She was identified as Laiba daughter of Ahmad Ali.
According to police marriage ceremony in respect of Ahmad Raza was taking placing two homes away from the home of victim girl. Wedding procession was leaving for Hyderabad at 9 p.m.
Some participants of wedding procession were firing while Laiba was making preparation for practical examination of first year on roof of her home.
A bullet hit her head during aerial firing and she died.
Police have handed over body to the family members after completing legal formalities.
