ISLAMABAD, MARCH 03 (ONLINE): Islamabad High Court (IHC) has ordered to remove name of former security incharge of Imran Khan from Passport Control List (PCL).
The court maintained including name of former security incharge of Imran Khan in PCL is unjust and illegal.
The court said in the decision it is not on the record name of petitioner was included in PCL with the approval of federal government.
The court remarked the basic rights of the petitioner have been violated enshrined in the constitution by including his name in PCL.
According to FIA report name of petitioner is active in ECL and PCL.
It was said in the decision name of petitioner was included by directorate general of immigration and passports on the recommendation of AIG.
Due to several FIRs it was recommended to include name in Exit Control List on August 24, 2023.
Anti Terrorism Court had approved bail of the petitioner on April 8, 2024.
The court ordered the respondents to remove name of the petitioner from PCL forthwith.
