RAWALPINDI, JAN 01 (ONLINE): Additional District and Sessions judge Rawalpindi Farhat Jabeen Rana has awarded two time life imprisonment to an accused for killing his parents by setting them ablaze after sprinkling petrol on them.
The culprit Muhammad Waseem has been fined Rs 6 lac as well by the court.
The culprit had killed his parents by setting them on fire after sprinkling petrol on them due to domestic feud.
The case was registered in police station Dhamial in 2022. The court announced punishment Saturday.
The court said in the decision no mild punishment can be awarded to such disobedient son. He has been awarded punishment for taking extreme step instead of overcoming domestic concern.
