Sheikh Rashid application for permission to hold public meeting in Lal Haveli rejected

RAWALPINDI, August 08 (Online): Application from former federal minister Sheikh Rashid seeking permission for holding public meeting in Lal Haveli on August 13 night has been turned down.

The application from Sheikh Rashid for permission to hold public meeting has been rejected by deputy commissioner Rawalpindi.

The district administration said that permission for public meeting can not be accorded due to law and order situation and security threat.
