ISLAMABAD, May 13 (Online): Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has approved Rs 23- billion for Azad Kashmir.
According to PM house announcement, a special meeting of federal cabinet was held under the PM Shehbaz Sharif on prevailing situation in Azad Kashmir. The meeting was attended by AJK PM, ministers of AJK government and senior political leadership.
Federal ministers and leaders from coalition partners of government also attended the meeting. After taking detailed review of prevailing situaiton in Azad Kashmir, the PM Shehbaz Sharif accorded approval to provide immediately Rs 23 billion to address the problems facing people of Azad Kashmir. Kashmiri leadership and other participants thanked PM on the occasion.
