IHC gives last chance to NAB prosecutor to appear in IK bail petition in £190m reference

Islamabad, April 29 (Online): The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has adjourned the hearing on bail petition of PTI Founder in 190 million pound reference till May 6.Case unable to proceed due to the absence of the NAB prosecutor, the court directed the NAB prosecutor to present on the next hearing giving the last chance to appear.The hearing on the bail application of PTI founder heard by a division bench comprising Chief Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri.

Meanwhile, Shehbaz Khosa Advocate, Barrister Salman Safdar and other PTI lawyers appeared before the court.
However, NAB prosecutor Amjad Pervez advocate did not appear in court even today. NAB Prosecutor Amjad Parvez Advocate did not appear in the court even on the previous hearing.
The petitioner’s lawyer Sardar Latif Khosa had argued in the previous hearing, NAB Prosecutor Amjad Pervez Advocate had to give arguments.

Chief Justice Amir Farooq said that he had heard Latif Khosa on the previous hearing, every case has its own nature, Salman Safdar said that his foot was on the accelerator in the trial.
The court said that they are giving a last chance, the NAB prosecutor should appear at the next hearing.
NAB prosecutor is absent for the second time, absence will not be acceptable at the next hearing.
The investigating officer of the case must also appear in the court on the next hearing, the court adjourned the hearing of the case till May 6.
