Justice Sattar dismiss pleas to recuse himself from the audio leaks case

Islamabad, April 29 (Online): Justice Babar Sattar of the Islamabad High Court dismissed the petitions of FIA, PEMRA and PTA with fines regarding the objection raised against them in the audio leaks case on Monday.
Sattar remarked that the judges of the Islamabad High Court support the investigation of the allegations of Justice Shaukat Siddiqui.
A hearing was held on the petitions, Attorney General Mansoor Usman Awan and Judicial Assistant Chaudhry Aitzaz Ahsan appeared in the court.

Justice Babar Sattar remarked that IB, FIA, PTA are serious institutions, I will decide after listening to their requests, in which objections have been raised against me, who has given them the authority to file requests?
Additional Attorney General Manoor Iqbal Dogal replied that the FIA has requested to transfer the case to another court, objecting that six judges including Justice Babar Sattar wrote a letter against the interference of intelligence agencies in the judiciary.
Justice Babar Sattar inquired that what is the FIA’s connection with the ISI issue? Is FIA a proxy of ISI? Is the letter about secret agencies?

Justice Shaukat Siddiqui’s allegations are being supported by the judges of this court. Justice Babar Sattar said that the judges of this court said that they support investigating the allegations of Justice Shaukat Siddiqui. Case related to ISI not related to FIA?
Does the FIA have anything to do with installing secret cameras in judges’ houses? Additional Attorney General Dogal replied that no, they are not, in a petition, the role of the agencies has been discussed.
The Islamabad High Court has sought an answer from the Intelligence Bureau (IB) on whose instructions the miscellaneous application was filed and summoned the Joint Director General IB in a personal capacity.
The Additional Attorney General said that Joint Director General Intelligence Bureau Tariq Mehmood has approved.
