ISLAMABAD, April 08 (ONLINE): Islamabad High Court (IHC) has sought reply from interior secretary, Director General Immigration and Inspector General (IG) till April 24 on the petition filed by journalist Sami Ibrahim seeking removal of his name from ECL, Stop list and No fly list.
During the hearing of the petition Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani remarked they will be loving you more and will be wanting you not to go abroad. The counsel for Sami Ibrahim said smilingly it seems so. Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani heard the case Monday.
Sami Ibrahim appeared in the court along with his counsel. The counsel for the petitioner told the court earlier his name was in PNIL.
The court ordered. The interior secretary did not appear. Single bench issued warrants and DG immigration appeared.
The counsel took the plea DG Immigration told name has been removed from PNIL . Now it has been placed in ECL again.
The court of Justice Sardar Ijaz Ishaq Khan had wrapped up the case.
The counsel for the petitioner said it came to the knowledge later that name was put in ECL in some other FIR.
The court inquired are you on bail in the present case. The counsel for the petitioner told the court his client is on bail in the case which has been told. Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani remarked they will be loving you more. They He will be wanting that you should not go outside the country. Counsel for Sami Ibrahim said smilingly it seems so.
The court while issuing notice to the respondents adjourned the hearing of the case till April 24.
