ISLAMABAD, March 13 (ONLINE): Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued notice to superintendent Adiala jail for not arranging meeting of Allama Nasir Abbas leader of Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) with PTI founder despite court’s orders.
Justice Saman Rafat Imtiaz of IHC issued notice to superintendent Adiala jail for March 15 on the contempt of court petition against him Wednesday.
The counsel for the petitioner Allama Nasir Abbas said IHC had issued orders for arranging meeting with PTI founder on March 8.
Superintendent Adiala Jail did not arrange meeting by deliberately non complying court’s orders. Therefore, contempt of court proceedings be initiated against the superintendent Adiala jail.
Later court issued notice to superintendent Adiala jail for March 15.
