IHC seeks report about presence of Bushra Bibi in sub jail

ISLAMABAD, MARCH 07 (ONLINE): Islamabad High Court (IHC) while hearing the petition filed by Bushra Bibi wife of PTI founder in connection with her shifting from Bani Gala Sub jail to Adiala jail has sought report about presence of Bushra Bibi in sub jail.
The court ordered senior officer of Islamabad administration to visit sub jail Bani Gala remarking superintendent jail should pass order on the petition related to meeting of Bushra Bibi with PTI founder. Superintendent Jail should file report of order with registrar IHC.

The petition filed by Bushra Bibi seeking her shifting from Bani Gala to Adiala jail came up for hearing in IHC Thursday. . Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb took up the case for hearing Thursday. The notification regarding approval of chief commissioner on shiftng Bushra Bibi to Banigala was presented in the court. The court inquired from state counsel this home is owned by whom. Has this been done with the willingness of owner of the house.

Justice Gulhassan remarked when you declare home of any one as sub-jail then do you seek permission from owner of the house. Had you obtained permission from the owner of the house in this case. The counsel told the court this house is owned by Imran Khan and house was declared sub jail without any consultation. State counsel told the court as Bushra Bibi is former first lady therefore, she has been shifted to Bani gala for the sake of her security.

The counsel Usman said this entire process is illegal. This was job of IG Jails. When Bushra Bibi had entered into Adiala jail then superintendent jail had no power to shift her. This was power of IG Jail. Justice Miangul remarked how the petitioner has been kept in Bani Gala. The counsel told the court she has been shut in one room of Bani gala.
The state counsel said I will tell the court after asking from jail authorities.

The counsel Usman said court should appoint bailiff who should go there and file report today. No permission has been given to Imran Khan for his meeting with Bushra Bibi even for a day after January 31.
The court sought report and issued aforementioned orders.
