LAHORE, FEBRUARY 10 (Online): PTI backed independent candidate Reehana Dar has field petition in Lahore High Court (LHC).
Returning officer, Election Commission (EC), Khawaja Asif and others have been made respondents in the petiton.
The petitioner has taken plea in the petition that Khawaja Asif has lost the election as per form 45. Khawaja Asif declared him victorious on his own in connivance with others. Returning officer allegedly declared Khawaja Asif winner . The results of form 45 are held by us.
The petitioner has requested the court to order for releasing the result as per form 45. The court should order EC to stop issuing the result.
The court should order for recounting besides nullifying form 47 result.
It is pertinent to mention here Khawaja Asif had defeated Reehana Dar in big electoral encounter in NA-71 Sialkot.
