ISLAMABAD, January 25 (Online): District and Sessions Court Islamabad has confirmed the bail of former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry in the case registered in Police station Aabpara.
The cases related to fraud and inciting the government employees against Fawad Chaudhry came up for hearing in the court Thursday.
The court heard the bail before arrest plea of Fawad Chaudhry filed in police station Aabpara.
During the hearing of the case Hiba Fawad wife of Fawad Chaudhry and his two daughters were present in the court.
District and Sessions court confirmed the bail of Fawad Chaudhry against the surety bonds in the sum of Rs 10000.
Faisal Chaudhry counsel for Fawad Chaudhry requested the court to confirm the bail of Fawad Chaudhry. There is allegation of loudspeaker. All the clauses are bailable.
Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra said Fawad Chaudhry has joined the investigation. We conduct the hearing of the second case against him some time later. Till then he can have meeting with his family members.
Counsel Faisal Chaudhry said his counsel Qamar Chaudhry is contesting election. He fears he may be arrested if he comes to kutchery.
Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra said this election is of unique nature where most of lawyers are contesting election. It is good thing. Educated people will come to parliament.
