Four older couples were sitting in a living room one evening, sipping coffee and reminiscing about the good old days.
One wife smiled and said, “You know, after forty years of marriage, my husband still calls me by sweet nicknames.”
The other wives looked impressed.
“Really?” one asked. “What does he call you?”
She beamed. “Honey, Darling, Sweetheart…”
The wives all turned to her husband.
“That’s so romantic!” one said. “How do you keep it up after all these years?”
The husband scratched his head and sighed.
“Well… to tell you the truth, I forgot her name about ten years ago and I’ve been too scared to ask.”
The room went silent.
Then one of the other husbands leaned forward and whispered,
