A young bullfighter from Texas dreamed of becoming the biggest name in the state.

He marched into the arena manager’s office and declared,
“Give me the biggest, meanest bull you’ve got! By tomorrow, everyone in Texas will know my name!”

The manager warned him,
“Son, that bull has thrown twelve experienced fighters over the fence.”

The young man puffed out his chest.
“Perfect! Fame always comes with danger.”

The fight began. The gate opened, and a gigantic bull charged straight at him.

The bullfighter dropped his cape, sprinted across the arena, climbed the fence and disappeared into the parking lot.

Later, the manager found him hiding inside a taco truck.

“Well,” said the manager, “you wanted everyone in Texas to know your name.”

The terrified fighter nodded. “Do they?”

The manager grinned:

“Absolutely! The crowd has named you ‘The Lone Star Runner’—because you started in Texas and nearly finished in Oklahoma!” 😂🐂
