After 25 years of marriage, Tom decided to do something special for his wife, Linda.
One evening he came home carrying a beautiful bouquet of roses, a box of chocolates, and a bottle of expensive wine.
Linda’s eyes widened.
“Wow!” she exclaimed. “What’s all this for?”
Tom smiled. “I thought we’d have a romantic evening.”
Linda sighed dramatically.
“Of course. Just my luck. The washing machine broke this morning, the dog threw up on the carpet, the kids are fighting upstairs, I burned dinner, and now you come home drunk.”
Tom looked confused.
“Drunk? I haven’t had a single drink.”
Linda folded her arms and replied:
“Well, somebody in this house had to have a good day!” 😆
